a little show & tell

'Blossom' wallpaper by Jocelyn Warner (I adore the gold version -see link)

I love playing with warm and cool tones as it's a great way to differentiate open-plan areas whilst using the same base colour: F&B's Cornforth White in this case

Winning formula: clean lines and textured accessories

This sofa is from John Lewis - they have definitely stepped up their game. Personal delight: at last, I get to use the colour yellow in a project and the Australian client loves it. Success!

Finishing touches: the stairwell/hallway is a gallery showcasing the clients collection of art

Oh, how I have missed this blog... It pains me to see how much time has passed since my last post. I've been itching to share things with you, it's just that I am really busy at the moment and any good blogger out there knows that posting can take around 1-2 hours, and so I've stayed away.

This is a super quick post to share with you a few snap shots of one of the projects I'm completing this week. These are not the professional shots, for those, plus more, you'll have to wait for the new website - it's coming! I have to admit to feeling a little nervous about posting these, there's nothing more daunting than peer review, so review away! I'd be delighted to get your feedback. What do you think? Could you live in a place like this?

  1. Lovely, Heather. I'm not a brown/neutral kind of girl, but this is so warm and inviting. Thanks for sharing your work.

  2. Heather it's gorgeous. I could move in tomorrow. Failing that, I've got just the place for that purple armchair!

  3. I love so many, if not all, of the elements of this room. The colours, the furniture, the placement of art/pictures (especially the offset ones in the kitchen area), the pendants, THE MIRROR .. it all looks super stylish. Your blog is always one of my favourites - and when I saw an entry pop up I was quick to have a peek. When I read that this is your work - I was even more impressed with your skills and talent.

Heather - you are one cool chick!!
