Aren't these beautiful? I found Jeweller  Abigail Percy's website this morning whilst on the look out for good printing companies. She used MOO to do her cards and now so do I -  they make it easy and affordable.

I've decided to create a 'business card'  for my blog. Why it hadn't occurred to me before is beyond me - we bloggers love to talk blogs... It wasn't until I met Lauren of Aspiring Kennedy, last November, where she presented me with this quite elegant embossed card that I got to thinking about this...

This card belongs to a woman who knows how to do things right! (And believe me, she is every bit as charming in person as you'd image.) Do you have a blog card? I'd love to see it...

p.s. Lauren used to work for Bella Notte and that's where she had these cards printed - you may recall an earlier post I wrote about them, so you can imagine how thrilled I was to connect that dot...

  1. Hi Heather

    Happy New Year!

I did a letter press workshop with Harrington and Squires to design and print my blog business cards. I love them and they are useful too.

  3. To the lovely Heather. Thanks for the nice comment yesterday (or today where you are!!!). And re: your hard year and learning lessons comments - I hope this year is easier for you and not so hard. In my post I commented that I was happy to plod - and I have to admit (just quietly) that these first 7 days of the new year have been filled with alot of family angst and therefor it is shaping to be a hard one so far. But as per you and your lessons learnt, I am trying to learn also. I will continue to read your blog as always and hope to see lots of great news, happy times and wonderful posts. You deserve a great year (-:

  4. Hi Heather,

I've just found your blog through a Farrow and Ball Google search. It's gorgeous!! I'm your new follower!!

I've not thought of having Blog Cards made. I don't have a business behind my blog so I suppose I don't really need one. But when does *need* come into it?! I *want* one!! - especially one as pretty as the one above.

  5. Linda - you write the best comments. You know, in my heady 35 year life experience, I find it is usually those years that start off in strife that end up being the greatest. In fact, if the year starts out well, that's my cue to worry. (er, this year has started out rather well, for me...) Keep going! See you over at yours, soon. x

Sarah! You write a great blog - I'm so delighted to have you, here! Oh, do get your blog cards made, I don't think you need a business at all, think about how many times you mention it to people 'in real life'. Lauren is employed doing something quite different to what she blogs about and her card really impressed me - the first thing I did when I got home was to check it out and that's exactly the point.

Oh, please do let me know if/when you have them made, I'd love to see them.
