'Blossom' wallpaper by Jocelyn Warner (I adore the gold version -see link)
I love playing with warm and cool tones as it's a great way to differentiate open-plan areas whilst using the same base colour: F&B's Cornforth White in this case
Winning formula: clean lines and textured accessories
This sofa is from John Lewis - they have definitely stepped up their game. Personal delight: at last, I get to use the colour yellow in a project and the Australian client loves it. Success!
Finishing touches: the stairwell/hallway is a gallery showcasing the clients collection of art
Oh, how I have missed this blog... It pains me to see how much time has passed since my last post. I've been itching to share things with you, it's just that I am really busy at the moment and any good blogger out there knows that posting can take around 1-2 hours, and so I've stayed away.
This is a super quick post to share with you a few snap shots of one of the projects I'm completing this week. These are not the professional shots, for those, plus more, you'll have to wait for the new website - it's coming! I have to admit to feeling a little nervous about posting these, there's nothing more daunting than peer review, so review away! I'd be delighted to get your feedback. What do you think? Could you live in a place like this?
Lovely, Heather. I'm not a brown/neutral kind of girl, but this is so warm and inviting. Thanks for sharing your work.
ReplyDeleteHeather it's gorgeous. I could move in tomorrow. Failing that, I've got just the place for that purple armchair!
ReplyDeleteI love so many, if not all, of the elements of this room. The colours, the furniture, the placement of art/pictures (especially the offset ones in the kitchen area), the pendants, THE MIRROR .. it all looks super stylish. Your blog is always one of my favourites - and when I saw an entry pop up I was quick to have a peek. When I read that this is your work - I was even more impressed with your skills and talent.
ReplyDeleteHeather - you are one cool chick!!
Its lovely, I really liked how homey it feels, my style exactly!!
ReplyDeletei could move right in, its gorgeous heather! love the wall colour and that velvet armchair. brilliant work!
ReplyDeletethanks so much for your kind comment too about the blog crawl thing - really sweet of you. jx
Good Lord! Everything looks beautiful! Well done, you should be really proud of yourself. I can't wait to see your new website. Have a happy weekend.
ReplyDeleteI think its stunning, that chair is lovely, and the colour scheme is soothing and calming, Very talented Heather! I too am missing my blogging...so hard to fit everything into one day isn't it? I wish we didn't need to sleep, that would make life easier!
ReplyDeleteSo many lovely comments, thank you. I really appreciate the time you've taken to share your thoughts - I should do this more often!
